EnCryption Gadget is a portable application that allows you to easily protect your files with an advanced data encryption technology.

EnCryption Gadget uses the very secure Blowfish encryption algorithm and has a very beautiful hi-tech interface.

	Just insert an encryption/decryption key, then drag&drop your file(s) on the program interface.
	EnCryption Gadget will instantly encrypt/decrypt dropped files, providing detailed reports about operations and graphic task progress bar on its large display.
	When unused for 10 seconds, Encryption Gadget gets the idle state, ensuring very low system resources consumption.

Hi-Tech behavior of the Gadget
EnCryption Gadget acts as a real hi-tech device.
While the cipher key is being inserted, EnCryption Gadget checks its efficiency and displays the level of security on the top-left scale.
During encryption/decryption process, the display shows specific messages and reports related to the process and the lower bar will show the general progress of requested tasks.
Display of long messages is ensured by two scrolling buttons.
If unused for more than 10 seconds, EnCryption Gadget gets the idle state with very low system resources consumption.
EnCryption Gadget returns in normal state when the mouse cursor overlaps its interface.
The Gadget can be moved around the screen dragging the right metallic grid.
EnCryption Gadget will remember its last position in the screen.
It can be maintained on top of other windows using the specific button.

Compatibility with Total Autorunner
If you use Total Autorunner to encrypt your files, you can, for example, install Encryption Gadget on your removable drive and you will be always able to decrypt and re-encrypt them everywhere, even if Total Autorunner is not installed.

Installation
Follow instructions contained in the setup program. The setup program will not copy files in system folders, nor will modify the system registry or other configuration files.
EnCryption Gadget can be installed also as a portable application directly on your removable drive. 
After installation, the main window of the program will be showed.

Use
Insert a cipher key; it can contain up to 56 alphanumeric digits, including also all symbols you see on your keyboard \|!"£$%&/()=?^'ìè+òàù,.-é*ç°§;:_[]@#{}<>
Drag&drop one or more files on the program interface (folders are not allowed).
EnCryption Gadget will start the encryption/decryption process showing a real-time report of operations.
Encrypted files will be renamed adding a "#" to its original name. Do not delete the "#" because this symbol allows files to be instantly recognized as encrypted.
To decrypt files, follow the same procedure as for encryption process.

Encryption engine
Encryption engine uses the very secure Blowfish encryption algorithm.
For security reasons, keys you inserted are not archived, so be sure to remember which key you used for each file, because there will be no way to decrypt a file if you forgot its key.

Uninstall
EnCryption Gadget has not registry keys or files in system folders.
The uninstall process is easy and will not leave traces:
1) open the Control Panel and choose 'Installed software';
2) search for EnCryption Gadget entry;
3) click 'remove program' and follow on-screen instructions.
NOTE: if you installed EnCryption Gadget on a removable drive, be sure that, before starting the uninstall process, the removable drive is connected and has the same drive letter that it had during installation.

About EnCryption Gadget and us...
EnCryption Gadget is developed by Associazione Culturale Oltre l'immagine, an Italian no-profit charity company that operates in re-education of people who had social diseases (like drug, prostitution, criminality), trying to re-insert these kind of people into the "normal working world".
We have two main re-education paths: one is the musical, teaching people to dance, sing, play music; the other (and new one) is introducing them to software development.
EnCryption Gadget is our third project in software development. As for MyPendrive and Total Autorunner, it's a basis for teaching our members and volunteers using authoring programs, because programming and developing a software (like the theatre) implies planning, order, organization and task self-management.
These qualities are also the basis of a "regular life" and what our humanitarian mission tries to give to the members of our association.
